Why did I make such a bad choice in my life?
I really don’t know what made me utter those words which I shouldn’t have!!!
I feel guilty for action, I never intended to that.
Why do we see ourselves or the people whom we know talk about doing something or saying something or expressing something, which they actually don’t want to and then regret about it?
These are not rational actions, thoughts or behaviors, but these are caused out of urgency, during a flip of consciousness, which is caused by Psychological triggers which makes a person impulsively in a given situation. Your impulses, your desires and everything in your subconscious that drives you take an action is coming from a Psychological Trigger.
What are psychological triggers?
According to David Richo, Ph.D. in is book 13 strategies to deal with your Emotional Triggers defines a trigger as “any word, person, event, or experience that touches off an immediate emotional reaction.”
Peter Hollins in his book Psychological Triggers, adds as his sub title that it’s the Human nature, Irrationality, and why we do what we do. The hidden influences behind our Actions, Thoughts and Behaviors. A psychological trigger is something that causes us to act out of urgency – not correctness or even happiness. It’s a switch that is flipped outside of our consciousness. This is fertile ground for some of the worst decisions of our lives. Seize control and of your impulses and make better decisions.
